Handpoke tattoos tend to be less detailed than machine tattoos due to the nature of poking by hand. Design components however are typically defined by size, placement and the artists skill level.

No, handpoke does not hurt more than a machine tattoo. Infact, handpoke typically hurts less and creates less trauma to the skin.

Handpoke tattoo is tattoo done without a machine. We use a bar needle and ink, poking the skin repeatedly by hand to deposit the ink.

Handpoke typically heals very gently. Due to the less traumatic nature of handpoke tattoos, there is less inflammation and swelling. Healing time on average is about 2 weeks.

Yes, handpoke tattoos are permanent, just like a machine tattoo.

Wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area being tattooed. Come hydrated and eat a high protein meal before your tattoo session. Bring water, and snacks if you feel you will need them. Do not cover your skin in lotions or moisturizers the say of your tattoo, however for an optimal tattoo, it is recommended to exfoliate and hydrate your skin for at least a week prior. Please avoid having to go to any workouts, or physically strenuous situations directly after your tattoo. Learn more in our AFTERCARE section.

Designs will be sent as a PDF, PNG and JPEG. Additional file types may be available by request.

All communication will be made via my client management system Dubsado, through email. You will also receive a 30 minute zoom call at the beginning of our project.

You will receive 1 concept choice. You are hiring me because of your confidence in my design work. I will translate your ideas into my own original design just for you. You will have a total of 3 edits of that design to get it dialed in just the way you want it.

Your non-refundable deposit payment of 50% of the total cost, will be due at the time of contract signing. Your final payment of the remainder of the cost is due at project completion, prior to receiving files. Please inquire about 3 month payment plans if more flexibility is needed.

Fall and WInter are your best times of year to get a tattoo. Less sun exposure, loose clothing, no swimming or sunbathing and cooler temperatures all aid in healing.
